The Fifteenth Doctor and Ruby Sunday are sulking about in the Fifteenth Doctor’s TARDIS.

So. Doctor.

So… Traken. It got destroyed.

fifteenth doctor

Yup.

ruby

Can we bring it back?

fifteenth doctor

It could cause an indestructible chain of events, which could cause our lives to turn out completely different.

ruby

Pretty please?

Ruby pulls a lever as the Fifteenth Doctor rolls his eyes.

The Fifteenth Doctor and Ruby Sunday exit into the Warrior’s Gate. A Tharil woman, her son, and her daughter are picking up cobwebs from a Gundan Warrior Robot.

Look Doctor! It’s just like the Lion King!

The woman and the little kid turn around.

Yeah! Let’s greet the strangers.

FIFTEENTH DOCTOR

I’m the Doctor, and this is Ruby Sunday.

ruby

Basically… I wanted to bring Traken back.

sadra

Really? Oh, that’s so nice. Anyways I’m Sadra and this is my son Biroc!

ruby

Can you help us?

sadra

I could see what I can do.

The Fifteenth Doctor, Ruby Sunday, Sadra, Biroc, and Valetta are in a grayscale world.

Oh! So grayscale!

sadra

This is the Tharil homeworld, Raylyor!

biroc

It looks quazzy!

valetta

Some have said it’s the stuff of daydreams.

The Tharil homeworld is reached through the gateway. It is where Tharils lived before discovering the various spaces and enslaving humans from across time – and later on, the Gundan Robots that the humans left them.

sadra

There are about 26 spaces. In human languages you could call them A to Z. This is the A space, it is the original space and it is just this homeworld. Then there is the gateway, and the white void outside the 26 spaces.

Is that why it’s grayscale?

sadra

It goes through all the colors of the rainbow. When off-planet, A-Space looks red, F-Space green, O-Space blue, and all the way to Z-Space which is red again. Initially, Planet Raylyor used to be really colorful, just like us. There were a lot of white, grey, black, and red, but with pops of other colors. But with contact with the white void, it eventually became grayscale.

It’s not complicated until you think about it, sonny.

Imagine if we went to a pink universe next!

ruby

Must girls like pink in every universe?

valetta

I HATE pink!

sadra

Ok, here is it, we have arrived at our lab.

The Doctor, Ruby Sunday, Valetta, and Biroc are sitting on a table, when Sadra returns.

Good news, everypony!

Sometimes I like to make the translator do the odd stuff.

What’s happening, mom?

Did the cat break ya shoulder?

sadra

No, kids. I’ve managed to subvert the Silver Devastation Entropy Wawe. The stars and planets destroyed by the Silver Devastation, I’ve moved them to N-Space to an empty part of Q-Space!

ruby

And then what did you do?

sadra

Well, I waited a bit until the Silver Devastation ended. Once it was safe, I brought them back.

ruby

Finally! Traken is as it should be!

fifteenth doctor

Cowabunga! Now Luvic can reign as the Fourth Keeper for 1000 years, as he is meant to.

ruby

And soon there will be a Fifth!

sadra

You all could go meet her.

valetta

I think she is so nice and pretty!

ruby

Yeah, we gotta go.

Here it is, Planet Traken, about 1000 years after your time.

ruby

Would be interesting to see how things have changed. It looks and feels somewhat different, more modern, yet many stuff still feels the same.

The Fifteenth Doctor and Ruby Sunday exit the TARDIS.

Eventually they arrive at the Traken Council hall, where the Keeper, the five Consuls, and the Proctor are.

I’m telling you, that’s not how it works.

He tries, but eventually we will come in circle.

Yeah, we all know the circle of life. Soon, you will die and Neema will become the Fifth Keeper.

Let’s enjoy her current identity before that happens.

Yeah. It’s lucky that Traken will last on so for long.

My dears. I’ve all known all of the things you’ve done for me. 1000 years of my life – and until fairly recently, I did’nt know what to do. Instead… Katura-

Yes, but the Fourth Keepership had brought a more accurate timekeeping of history and of the actual proper names of every Keeper, Proctor, and Consul that has ever been, causing their names to rise in popularity, so although they weren’t alive at the same time, the Fourth Keepership has had three Consuls Katura.

And one Proctor Katura. Funky days these ones, dressing as a boy by day and a girl by night. In fact, the Fourth Keepership had brought the rise of female and nonbinary Fosters and eventually female and nonbinary Proctors.

Oh, sorry Neema. It is just… you two have the same glint in your eyes. You two have been my favorite consuls of the Fourth Keepership.

Doctor, is that you? Of course you’d crop up again. Did you save Traken?

ruby

It was my idea! I’m Ruby Sunday and I come from Earth 1000 years in the past.

neema

Oh! Earth! That’s a nice planet, I’d love to go here! Anyways, I’m Neema, and I’m nominated to be the Fifth Keeper.

That’s so nice!

neema

Those are my fellow Consuls Dor, Anma, Ulvir, and Ilthi. Then there’s Proctor Himues, and of course our dear Millennial Leader. The Fourth Keeper!

Yeah, it was thanks to your old self that I rose to the Keepership. Those first few days… they were a n-nightmare.

dor

Yeah, you tell me.

ulvir

Old Consul Tremas got his body possessed, and we did’nt know what to do!

luvic

Is it so that I sent my Consulship on missions to find Tremas’ body. While Nyssa was on a mission on Logopolis, which was prompted by a shadowy white figure appearing in the Keeperspace, we saw Entropy approaching… there was of course me and Katura, but also Demia, Elkor, and Mithis. And our Proctor, Brolis.

I did’nt realize Nyssa was a Consul before!

luvic

Of course she was. But when we returned from entropy, she could’nt join us again. She had found her place with the Doctor, and eventually, on Space Station Terminus. Which means she was replaced by Gelma. Eventually, my old Consuls died. And so did Proctor Brolis. I found miself affronting new centuries with new Consulates.

And so, a new era begins.
